16 Weeks Pregnant!

The baby is about 5 inches long at the end of the week and can suck his or her own thumb. I still don't look pregnant, but I am getting bigger. Still waiting for me to "pop" and get that unmistakable pregnant look. Our cat Doom is being very bad. He peed on a pair of my maternity pants that I am borrowing from Heather. If the smell doesn't come out, I will have to buy her a new pair. Lovely. Haven't been having any terribly bad pains, so that is a plus. One thing, however, my morning sickness came back with a vengance. I haven't thrown up in a couple of days, so hopefully it left again.

15 weeks today

I am 15 weeks today. That is a picture I took just a little bit ago of what I look like. I still don't feel like I look pregnant. I just think I look mostly fat. Shaun thinks I look good, so I guess that is all that matters. I am meeting his brother, Alex, for the first time today and his son, Dominique, so I am a bit nervous. Hopefully, everything goes well. Oh, another thing, I actually had a good night sleep last night. I found out that the best way for me to sleep is if I sleep sitting up. It takes the pressure off of my hips and back.

14 weeks pregnant

I am 14 weeks pregnant today. I am still not showing that I am pregnant. I just look fat still. Around the middle of the week I will take a belly picture and put it up on here. I got a polaroid camera for my birthday so I could take belly pictures for my other pregnancy journal (it is actually in book form not online).

Went to the hospital on Friday for these intense back pains. This was the worst pain I had ever felt. I couldn't even walk and everytime the doctor touched my back I was screaming. He said it was just my uterus stretching and since I had never gone through it, it was going to hurt me more. God, I hope labor isn't like that or I am getting the epidural for sure!

My first real craving

So I was craving BBQ chicken hardcore so Shaun bought me chicken and and BBQ sauce. I swear to you, I really did what I am about to say...

Shaun gets home from work and shows me the BBQ sauce. I grab it in some freaky pregnant rage and open it and start eating it. THEN I grab BBQ chips and dip them in BBQ sauce. Shaun tried to take the BBQ sauce away from me and I like growled at him. Sweet lord!

2nd Trimester-13 weeks!

I am so excited! I am in my 4th month, my second trimester! Ahh! I am so happy. My birthday is on Wednesday, so my mom is taking me out shopping tomorrow to buy me some cool maternity clothes.

Shaun is doing all the cleaning today! That is another thing that makes me happy.
